Police K9 dogs are some of the most agile and well-trained dogs that you will ever find. They go through years of training to become the best of the best.

Before their training, these dogs are already tagged as some of the most physically and mentally gifted pups out there. Their training is just the icing on the cake.

However, we all know how they can be stumped by the simplest things. They can act all tough and brave, but they are easily terrified by vacuum cleaners and fireworks.

They can wittingly figure out a way to escape or steal food but, at the same time, be dumbfounded by their own reflections.

In this picture, we see K9 Officer Jary trying out his new snow booties and barely able to figure it out:

In the video below, we came to learn that we should be adding “booties” to the list of things that our dogs just couldn’t figure out.

However, this K9 officer named, Jary, had a little bit of practice on how to use them. But after watching the video, it might take him a day or two to figure it out.

It’s no secret that a dog’s paws are very sensitive to extreme weather. That is why we do the five-second test when it’s hot outside. What others don’t know is that they need protection too when it’s snowing outside, and the temperatures have dropped.

The Rapid City Police Department knows this fact, and in their efforts to protect all of their officers, even the four-legged ones, from the cold weather, they provided snow booties for their police K9 dogs.

However, when K9 Officer Jary tested his booties for the first time, it seemed like he forgot how to walk.

The pup’s hilarious reaction was just too funny not to share. When his handler threw a stick for him to retrieve, it seemed like he forgot all about the booties, and he was able to run normally. However, once he got the stick on his mouth, he once again forgot how to use his legs.
